Zebra Chair
18x24 inches $175
I painted this Zebra Print chair from one of my dining room chairs. I bought a set of 6 of these chairs at an auction in Rosenberg, Texas. Not all have held up through the years. They originally had a tan fabric seat and were a dark wood frame. I painted them black and covered the seat with a soft zebra print. We once had a dinner party and one of our guest was sitting in one of the chairs when the leg gave out and brought him tumbling to the ground. We have since bought new chairs.

March Madness
24x24 inches $200
2.5 inch gallery wrapped canvas.
I thought since it's March and there seems to be basketball on every night that today I'd show you this painting. I created this painting with acrylic paint. I didn't use a paintbrush. It was made by controlling the dripping. I wanted to create an obvious sports, basketball painting but in an unique way.

Shell Open, Redstone Golf Course
24x48 inches 2.5 inches thick. $450
I decided to try something different. I was told I need more art men would like. :)
So I decided to try a golf course. I really enjoyed working on this a lot.
I took Golf in College one semester to fulfill my P.E. credit. It was so hard. Much harder than I thought it would be. Not to mention my golf bag was bigger and weighed more than I did at the time. I had no idea how much skill went into the swing. I think I remember the instructor saying there were 72 things to remember. The next semester I took racquet ball the next semester. That wasn't much better. A closed square room with a ball moving fast at you off every wall. I'm so not good at sports. I hope you like the painting. email me at Tracey@Traceybautista.com

Tennis Tourney
In Honor of my son who had a tennis tourney today. He made it to the Semi finals.
His first love is beach volleyball though.
So today I was working on the computer and suddenly everything went blurry and had shadows. Turns out I was having an ocular migraine. I have never had a migraine before. It was scary to say the least. Eyes are still dilated but that should pass soon.

Sushi Art
Red Sushi
3.5x3 inches
I LOVE SUSHI. I admit it now. I had sushi for the first time last year with a couple of women. I was not happy about going to eat sushi because I was looking forward to this girls night out and never had sushi and was not interested at all! We get to the restaurant and it's packed. Finally get a table and the ladies order for us. Thanks goodness. I had no idea what anything was. I loved everything. I'm so hooked now. Here's me eating eating sushi for the first time ever. I went back to my studio the next day and painted sushi. Everyone thought I was crazy and I sold my little sushi paintings at the next art show. Yeah Sushi. I'm hungry.
